isopatch, A very nice feature to add to the thread! My own view on the durable orders news is somewhat basic, as I am concentrating on the 3D world the next week or three, both playing catchup on chores and having some fun. But here it is. Good news on the durable orders is balanced against the expected increase in interest rates. Once again we see the TNX heading for your line in the sand of 4.5%: bigcharts.marketwatch.com bigcharts.marketwatch.com So we are heading for the point where we find out if the economy can take an interest rate hike or not. Much of the volatility now seems to me to be caused by these "trial balloon" type of comments and gov't figures, which are a way of trying to find that out. JMVHO... Best, Roebear
