The financial burden on the USSR of attempting to counter MX/Peacekeeper and SDI is what broke their piggy bank and trashed their whole governmental structure. Reagan and the Republicans knew that. Carter and his peanut-gallery didn't have a pacifist's flaming clue. Everyone knows that communism (..and bonehead Hillary's Dizzy City-controlled macro-Socialism..) is a long-term farce - unless your talking about some isolated commune of pseudoHippies somewhere that they don't need heat in the winter. OBTW: Hairy BS Ketchup-Head Keery is still D-O-A for 2004, and I just l-o-v-v-v-e clean, quiet and dependable Nuclear Power Plants - and my extensive gun collection. John :-) .
