As I have indicated many times on this thread, I just offer the Barron's GMI bit and do not claim any special expertise. However, your approach to investing in PMs makes a lot of sense to me; though I have most of my money in Juniors. I also believe that you are right about the bull market in PMs continuing. Set backs like the recent hit in prices are going to occur from time to time but, as long as we continue to build our economy on increasing debt, I don't see how the primary trend can change.

If you look at a plot of our total debt (private and public, you will see that it peaked at about 250 percent of GDP in about 1934 and dropped back to about 120 percent by 1940. It remained in the 120 percent range until 1980 and has been rising ever since and is now in excess of 300 percent of GDP. I believe we are headed for a period of significant inflation or stagflation and isn't a Volker anywhere in sight to save us.
