I agree. I have a pretty complete gallery, and most of my new captures are redundant, so I've been focusing on grabbing unusual poses, like this.

It's a technical challenge, though, because my rig isn't very speedy, and neither are my reflexes :-/. Capturing motion in an egret's wings, for an example, is extremely difficult because the beat rate is so slow... probably 2 bps versus 80 bps for the hummingbirds. It would require using a slow shutter speed and panning, a task better suited for a dslr.
