I don't live in Georgia, and have never had a chance to vote for either Cleland or Saxbe Chambliss. I don't condone any of the things linked or quoted in your post.

But, if you go back and follow the thread of this conversation, I merely commented to Pat that I did not recall Cleland being called a traitor. I asked Pat to post a link. What I got was an article that did not contain the word "traitor." Frankly, if anyone called Cleland that, they should be ashamed for the comment.

That said, the coversation degenerated into the usual round of AS fantasy and name calling, when she accused me of defaming Cleland. I never did and I take strong issue with that.

I challenge anyone to point out where I defamed Max Cleland, called him a traitor or anything similar. I've pointed out that his injuries were grievious and that he served his country well.

I take my integrity seriously, and take strong issue when people like AS impugn my honesty or morality.

AS is either mentally challenged, in which case he or she deserves our sympathy. The alternative is he or she is immature, intellectually dishonest and willing to go to whatever steps he or she thinks are necessary to put forth her agenda.

I think he or she deserves to be censured for the vitriol of her attacks on others, yet that seems unlikely.
