I last went to Kauai in early 90s; going again this Summer. I hope I find it like I left it.

Oh, it's the same. Your Sprint cell phone still won't work on the south shore. We will become extinct from eating too much Spam. We are having a "Spamjam" this weekend. Waikiki will be taken over by the spam lovers. They will close down Kalakaua for a parade on Saturday.

Waikiki Spam Jam: Spam Musubi, making and eating of the world's longest Spam musubi, noon-1 p.m., Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center; continues 4-10 p.m. Saturday with street festival; free. 545-4195.

Waikiki Spam Jam: Comedy Show, Bo Irvine's comedy revue, doors open 7 p.m., show at 8, All Star Hawaii; $10 or free admission with a can of Spam.
