Thanks for the link.

I know this isn't exactly on point, but ultimately i'm a free trader and i think the US being so much richer than the rest of the world just isn't a sustainable situation.

Things won't be stable until we all have similar standards of living and work for similar wages. That's what the author is saying too, he just thinks we should take some sensible steps along the way to smooth the process, for us.
