There's no doubt in my mind that the South is more racist than the North. That's why, as the Democrats became more pro civil rights, the South has become more Republican. Generally speaking, southern whites don't want to be in the same party as blacks. Hey, that link says Clinton tried to paint Dole as a racist in '96. Do you have anything to back that up? Is Al Gore really responsible for his father's vote on civil rights? Steve Dietrich
