RE: "Does anyone know the percent weightings accorded to Japanese stocks in Brinker's current international model portfolio?"

I believe that the international growth fund he recommends has about 30% in Japan. Assuming that is correct, and the international growth fund represents 10% of equities, the Japanese portion is 3% of equities. Since Bob's recommended foreign stock weighting is 25% of equities, the Japanese equities represent about 13% of international equities. [Did I calculate that correctly??]

Notwithstanding the above, I'm really not sure that Bob is actually recommending investment in Japan. Perhaps he is just recommending the specific international growth fund, based purely on its performance, that just happens to have 30% of its assets in Japanese stocks.

Best wishes,

I2
