Hi Rob,

I don't think there is an uproar bt shareholders.I think the uproar is from top management trying to save their cushy jobs.

Of course this is a large part of the proposed cost savings.

Twice the customers and one instead of two "BIG HONCHO MANAGEMENT TEAMS = more bottom line profits.

The Peoplesoft management is hiding behind the owner base, competition, motherhood, apple pie and the American flag.

It is a good plan with Billions of efficiencies over time - I've always thought it was brilliant.

This takes 10G into midsize businesses with a huge army/sales force and of course a somewhat forced migration as peoplesofts software becomes aged and nonsuppoted like ALL SOFTWARE becomes obsolete.

Huge efficiencies.

Larry's going after the next biggest fish - it is a strong LONG TERM plan.

He's got the money - it is in the bank. The longer it takes the more shares I'll accumulate at this finked up price due to the uncertainty.

I think Orcl is a 17-19 dollar stock when it gets accomplished and 25 when synergies become apparent.

JMHO

Bob
