There's only one problem with that story: It doesn't square with this:

These unexplained "spikes" in the seismic data lend credence to the theory that massive explosions at the base of the towers caused the collapses.
THat's NOT what those tracings show. What they show is a disturbance of increasing magnitude that reaches a peak, then dies off. Like a sinc function if your familiar with that.

Experts cannot explain why the seismic waves peaked before the towers actually hit the ground.
Your source needs to prove that. I bet they can't do it. The shock from the collapse would not register on those traces at exactly the time the buildings collapse. They would register LATER because the shock cannot exceed the speed of sound in the medium their moving through. Those seismographs were 20 miles away, remember? The only way they can make that statement would be to know for sure the propagation delay between the WTC towers and those detectors. They fail to give any evidence they are even aware of this.

Now: The speed of sound in rock is 13000 mph, approx. That means it would take only .0015 seconds for a shock wave from the WTC to reach those detectors.

I await proof from you that the timing of the building collapses is known well enough to be able to say that the paeak of those traces was reached BEFORE the collapse had commpleted.
