The people in Iraq were not terrorists. But now more and more of them are. They are also seeing our occupation in Iraq, listening to Saudi-funded rightwing clerics and deciding to become jihadists and die for the cause. America used to be more or less trusted, but now we're as bad as Israel to them. Any jihadist can get across the border without any problem and go to Iraq to kill and die.

The dirty secret to Cheney-Bush's strategy is that it's making us much less safe and creating a much bigger army of terrorists going forward. The only way out of this for us is to elect Kerry, pacify Iraq in a moderate fashion, then try hard to make peace in Israel. It won't be easy, but the Cheney-Bush route is doomed. Fallujah is already a nightmare and it may be about to get worse. Fallijah may become a rallying cry if we attack there, like their Alamo. Watch out because what you see on Fox News is only part of the story, the pro-Bush part. There's a lot more to the story and it's about to bite us hard in the butt.
