the one thing that the killers have in common is a feeling of immense superiority. It could be that they want to exterminate us because they regard us as spiritually deformed and unfit to live, at least in their world. It's no "could be" about it. Moreover, in the case of Islam inspired terrorists, the above is coupled with the deranged notion that we are only here as a stepping stone to some higher existence so life here and now doesn't matter. People who really believe this cannot be reasoned with. Yet it is striking how resilient this perpetrator-as-victim narrative remains. Blame Ourselves First !
