That is exactly why the terrorists are likely to strike around the election, they want Bush to remain in office.

If the terrorists won't cooperate, Bush will raise the threat level to orange, go on prime time television and warn us that terrorists may strike at any moment.

The Bush admin will do anything to keep people terrified and subservient.
