OK OK I get that conspiracy line. I'm just trying to figure out the logic from Redfish's post about them wanting Bush to win.

Kind of like a double reverse - film noire - hidden mysterious psychological thriller.

Anyway, I tend to go with the most obvious.

It's most obvious that OBL and his band are upset on the personal level. You are right about the Saud house and the Bush people. It's not so much about the US in Saudi Arabia, it may very well be about Bush in his country, while he is a pariah. Given that, I can't see OBL wanting Bush to win.

As for the bigger picture, Kerry will continue the war against OBL, perhaps with more effectiveness, I don't know. He will have less connection with the House of Saud and will be able to put more pressure on them to stop the teaching of Jihadist terror in their school and to stop funding terror.

I've very mixed feelings on the war in Iraq on many levels and many mixed feelings about how we have let terror be taught and funded by the Saudis and WMD spread by the Pakistanis. I hope this debate plays out rather than the really whacky conspiracy stuff and total Bush bashing and Kerry baiting. The stakes are too high.
