Jordan of course, Abdallah even annexed the west bank in 1950, considering that part of the "Palestinian state". Hussein attacked Israel in 1967 (presumably to, as he and Nasser promised their Arab populations, eradicate the "Nakba" and with it Israel, sharing between them the expected "spoils of war and territories won). He lost, and since his intentions were to "take land" by aggression, it is only fitting he lost some. Now, just because the Hashemite house is afraid that in due time, Palestinians will not want to be governed by, essentially, a Saudi Prince, it does not means that the Palestinians really need two separate states. The Hashemmites were given "kingdoms" as compensation for their fighting the Turks in WWI, but they originated near Medina in Saudi Arabia, and some of them, still dream of returning back and controlling the holy sites. Of course, if they had oil, the world would let them, but since most of the oil is in southeastern Saudi Arabia, the base of the Saudi house, no such luck.
