I too have ADSL, but I have a problem I guess. I re-installed the player, still NFG. I then hit upon a possible solution and fired up IE (I use Netscape).

At least this time the media player fired up instead of showing me a page with a bunch of gobbledeegook. But no video or audio although it was playing something as the time bar was moving.

I'm going to re-boot & try again.
