<<The point was, that the land is currently stateless. All the international laws regarding occupation that get quoted up the wazoo have as their underlying assumption that the occupied territory was internationally recognized as belonging to State A until State B occupied it. Like Lebanon and Syria, for example>>

What state controlled the land when it was invaded and when 242 was passed?????? Hint: #23, Chicago Bulls, first name Michael, last name ________. That International Court of Justice, the UN and that pesky Geneva Convention are just so damned inconvenient. The whole world (except the US of course) must be anti-smitic, that's the answer!!!

You can spin it up, down, backwards, sideways whatever way you want Nadine but at the end of the day it will always come back to a matter of right and wrong. Stealing land from another state (Jordan and Egypt in 1967), oppressing the indigenous population (Palestinians), displacing them from their homes and refusing their right of return is WRONG even when the Jooooos are guilty of it.
