Vitaly should be proud, he did well and is - as I see it - a worthy heavyweight champ. My hope is that he fights Byrd again and vanquishes the ghosts of their previous run-in.

I only wish Sanders, who I'm also a fan of, had come into the fight in slightly better shape. That said, he stood his ground, connected, and did his best. A good night for boxing and heavyweights specifically.
