Although I don't like either Bush or Kerry, if I were forced to chose between them, I'd reluctantly pick Bush as the lesser of evils. That being said, there is probably no other issue that would fire me up and radicalize me as much as any attempt to reinstate the draft.

If one were to agree that the country has become increasingly polarized over the last few years, a draft initiative would raise divisions to the boiling point. I personally don't think it will happen...
