If the US is fairly evenly split between Karens and Jakes (neither of whom would probably change their mind about their candidate no matter what- and I'm not be insulting, just observing that you are both fairly partisan, and their is nothing wrong with that) and the middle is waivering- it's not surprising at all that the race is 50/50.

It's funny anyone would think it surprising- all the data shows that people are getting more partisan, which means they aren't open to data because they don't want to change their minds, which means no matter what comes out about Bush and Kerry (and plenty has on both) no partisan minds are moving. No big surprises there.

Again, this is NOT an attack- just an observation.
