"the boys on the inside" Tnsplyr are typically junkies on the boards at the exchange who communicate daily with each other. If activity steps up in a particular issue, on either the buy or sell side, they'll hear about it immediately and act likewise. They'll also call they're buddies outside the confines of the exchange and let them know too. If you're not in the loop, you must depend on technical analysis, and even this is difficult without experience. But, "the boys on the inside" make errors too. In panic selling, they're generally the first to sell, and many times miss strong upside moves. They're a nervous lot.
