Nobody is thrilled about Western occupation right now. I don't blame them. But the media is taking what in any other war would be small events and blowing them out of proportion. Surely things aren't perfect. Perfect would be no death and no fighting. But perfect would also have been for Saddam to willing step down and quit the games with the UN. I'm so mad about the dirty deals I'm hearing with the UN I could bite myself. These are the people we want in charge of rebuilding Iraq? I'm willing to admit we're not perfectly clean in this whole gig. But France, Germany, Russia and the UN appear to be far worse. I think you can make a case for them being responsible for the war by stealing from the Oil for food program and selling banned arms to Iraq against the UN resolution. They had MONTHS to step up to the plate and say - We can't support a war in Iraq because it's not Iraq's fault. We've all been on the take and Iraqi's don't deserve to die for our greed. Instead they cloak themselves in anti-war BS in an effort to make US look bad. Well guess what - maybe we didn't have all the facts right on this baby but those LYING MOTHER F**Kers held out on relevant information because they were on the take. Don't you think the UN and the above mentioned countries should take on a little burden for some of this as well? I Do! People accuse the US of being in this for Greed. It would appear that the worm has turned a little and NOW WE HAVE REASON TO QUESTION those great humanitarians in France, Germany and Russia. They didn't even have the balls to tell the truth when they knew damn well we were going to invade a country and kill people in part to destroy a Dictator THEY WERE FUNDING! I don't want to hear another F**King word from France or the UN about humanitarianism as their commitment to it only goes as deep as their pockets. We, in the US, always find a way to criticize our own intentions first. We always assume we're the greedy bastards - well guess what.....this time we may want to look outside our own government for a major portion of the blame
