You certainly tell it like it is.
I wonder why you don't write the "human side of events" for human interest columns in the newspaper. Like Eleanor Roosevelt's MY DAY.

It always spoke to the middle class and every one of my Mother's friends her column.. Homespun stuff that people could relate to. My Mother's age group.. not many women had gone onto college and most were not book readers....but that newspaper column and the radio with Walter Winchell, the eyes and ears of the world they stayed tuned in.

Your description of your experiences in what now is known as Middle School and then high school very interesting. And your point so well taken.
