rrufff, I must say, that I don't agree with any other religions except Christianity, but as a Christian, I know that I am not supposed to hate. Hating someone that does not believe as you do, is not acceptable, and gets in the way of possible converts, or those looking for a religion such as Christianity. People like emile, and brian, set an example that would make serious thinkers shy away from what they believe in. That is an injustice to all other Christians, and I resent that.
I could go into the parts of the bible that I accept as truth, because those words were written by those that witnessed what happened in their times, but much of the old testament was written from oral history up to millions of years ago, and I cannot get my teeth into that as being the absolute truth. |
