Kerry is not afraid of anything the RNC dishes out, but he's not going to be sucked into their little dirty tricks character assassination/distraction from the issues game. He knows their tricks too well.

Instead, if they attack, he'll attack right back with the TRUTH (instead of BS they throw at him) and make them hurt, punish them for their nonsense. He did this yesterday by demanding Bush explain where he was in 1972, an issue the White House thought they'd covered up. Now it is back in play again. Meanwhile Kerry's ribbons "issue" is not even an issue. SO what if he exaggerated a bit in one interview 33 years ago? WHo hasn't exaggerated sometime in their life. But try and find a Kerry fib in the last 20 years when it counted. He won't. He told the truth about his medals. Still has them.

BTW: Where WAS Bush in 1972 and where are Cheney's energy papers? Don't you think we have the right to know?
