I read his "Angels & Demons" in one sitting, it was really good read. It is written in almost real-time, only a few hours pass from the time it starts till it ends. It is set in the Vatican and has a lot of good historical stuff in it. I don't buy the conspiracy angle, but he knows how to tell a story. If I remember correctly his wife is an art history person.
