Today the market experienced an intra-day failure to the upside closing near the middle of an increased spread on higher volume. The market weakened the short term supply line for a second consecutive day but was unable to hold above it. It's second attempt in two days to break through this supply point as well as the supply line from the years highs was a result of the removal of demand.

Supply did enter the market late in the day but was met by demand. The failure of supply to take control of the action for the past two days is positive. At the end of the day, however, the market closed in a nearly overbought condition.
