No, it isn't. There is no question that we are saving civilian lives in Iraq.

Yes, some civilians have been killed. But the policies of Saddam were resulting in the deaths of 5,000 children monthly (http://www.casi.org.uk/discuss/1999/msg00231.html). This excludes the brutal murders and mass killings, as well as the needless war dead.

I realize you feel the need to excuse Saddam's behavior. I don't.
