I could be wrong but believe that each vendor (Quote, eSignal, Tradestation etc) is calculating these market statistics on their own.

It would not surprise me if Quote.com's accuracy is off for TRIN, given that their accuracy is generally worse than any of the other aforementioned vendors.

At least that is my experience, having once upon a time being a Quote.com subscriber and proponent. After a period of dissatisfaction, I tested Quote.com quote/tick delivery against PCQuote and eSignal and discovered that Quote.com - particularly in futures at the time - was delivering significantly less information.

Depending on how they calculate TRIN and TICK (frequency of updates, what symbols are being included, how good are they at keeping their symbol universe up to date, etc) I can easily see Quote.com having wildly different values simply because the underlying data has a history of inaccuracy.

But probably other factors in the calculation are also at work here...
