JF, The fact that most of those deaths took place over 10 years ago belies your "average" deaths per day. A rather chilling trivialization of the bruality of Saddam's former regime. Just average the number of deaths over the length of time, and you can lose your status of "genocidal maniac" and become a "stabilizing force," at least in the eyes of your sympathizers and appeasers.
