That's the nature of war. It's uncivilized but there are times when it's justified. Kerry should never have repeated stories of atrocities that he did not witness.
His personal experiences were all that were required, instead he insinuated that atrocities were deliberately committed by all fighting men. The man's ambition permits him to say whatever he feels is required to win.
