I wonder what the real Syrian response to this Al Qaeda attack will be. It's one thing to harbor terrorists, but it gets embarrassing when they freelance in the safe haven you've given them. Makes it look like you're not really in charge. Arafat has always been comfortable with this method of operation, but it's not really the Assad style of business.
