I was listening to the radio today in Albany on my way to the airport to go to FL, and a couple of the local talk show hosts were discussing the fact that the media hasn't been mentioning the Iraqi casualties, and these hosts attributed that to a desire not to equate high numbers of "dead Iraqis" with victory, like was done by the media during Vietnam. It made sense to me.
