We were saying exactly that same thing in early December, and somehow the guy swept the field.

There's a terrible fact of life for Democrats to realize. The media is still giving George Bush a free ride, and corporate fat cats are still funding Bush to an obscene degree making his negative ad campaign functional.

My counsel is to relax for the time being. The convention is a long way off. So is the November election.

That said, I'm voting for Kucinich in the Oregon primary May 18th, and I'm hoping that Oregon comes through with huge Kucinich numbers in order to make Kerry sit up and take notice that it is the progressive wing of the Democratic Party that will save his bacon come November, and not the namby-pamby Bush-Lite DLC types.
