The same security lapses were occurring at all major US airports. Why focus on Logan? Prior to 9-11 all major airports were tested for security, and all major airports consistently failed the tests. This information was regularly printed in the press. Probably gave bin Laden the impression that they could easily get knives aboard. What's even more egregious is Bush taking the longest vacation in Presidential history...right when Tenet's "hair was on fire". The question is, after Tenet said that 70 investigations were in progress did Bush even ask what was the nature of the investigations? Or did he head straight to the ranch for some R&R? Orca
