I have know idea who Korea Inc. is??? But describing these Korean companies as fish merchants or potato farmers is nuts. I have been to Seoul a couple of times and have visited the likes of Samsung both times. Samsung is one of the companies responsible for turning the dram market upside down. These guys are a huge force to be dealt with. If they for instance came out with a press release saying they wanted to capture the GaAs market I would take that very seriously. I can't tell you the details of that announcement, but someone in Korea wants to throw a lot of money at this industry and if they cary out that plan they will be a serious competitor. I beleive as well that the GaAs market is very different though (to contradict my self) I just don't take that press release as lightly. I did eat a lot of raw fish while there though! Bob
