Many verses teach that some men find favour or grace in God;s sight above others:

Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy,
and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

1 Samuel 2:26 And the child Samuel grew on, and was in
favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Noah found Grace and lived while God flooded the earth upon the rest of mankind.

Exodus 33:17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this
thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace
in my sight, and I know thee by name.

Moses was known to God "by name" or intimately as a friend.

The fact that God loves some above others is well recorded.

The fact that God hates some is also recorded:

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

God hated Esau before he was born or had done anything good or evil:

Romans 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither
having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God
according to election might stand, not of works, but of him
that calleth;)

Read all of Romans 9 and see that this is plainly taught in scripture.
