Taking Chance Home LtCol M.R. Strobl USMC The following is Marine Lieutenant Colonel Strobl's account of escorting the remains of Lance Corporal Chance Phelps. It's a long and beautifully written and it deserves to be read in it's entirety. It's about Valor, Honor and Respect. Thanks to Jarhead Dad for sending it to me. Heard this remarkable story on the radio yesterday, read by one of the talk show hosts. Most amazing! Wonder if ABC will read this along with the names? They certainly should....it tells the story of how both the Military, and all Americans feel about the young men and women who are in the Military.
