Not sure where Yao hangs his hat in town, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was Sugarland. There are several pro athletes that have homes in that area, along with some other celebrities. Frank Beard of ZZ Top lives down the road from one of my crew in Pecan Grove (and he sends his kids to public school, nice bit o trivia).

I hope Yao speaks Vietnamese. Houston is a gateway city, very large Vietnamese population. ;)

The framing of conservative Southerners is just so predictable it is numbing. Grit-eating, tree-killing, truck-driving, uneducated, mouth-breathing, knuckle draggers. Maybe in Mississippi... ;P To a New York liberal I suppose it can't even be imagined that wealthy, educated, non-white folks might vote for (hold onto your hat, now) - Tom DeLay, Harbinger of All That is Nasty and Mean.
