Do you have a citation where Krugman has said that directly? I read him regularly, and I have never seen anything like what you are ascribing to him.

There is a really bad habit developing among certain SI members to, let's be blunt about this, to lie. Hopefully you are not one of these people and you can actually cite the instance where Krugman said what you attribute to him.

I've had the most insane things ascribed to me on SI, and frankly, it is a bit annoying that so many people simply lie whenever it suits their ideology.
