Jay - If this latest round of SARS originated from a "leak" of cultures in a laboratory, it shows how poorly the laboratory procedures are, and they have highly inadequate quality control and quality assurance system in place. They better start instituting such procedures, or it will cause lots of hiccups on future economic growth and internal security. If quality control and assurance procedures are lacking in a research laboratory, it is probably prevalent everywhere else. Are they (society and government) too thick or too ignorant to know or realize that it is important to have one?
