for workers' rights and unsafe working conditions in China, all Chinese government is guilty for is it has not aggressively policed those foreign-owned/joint adventures. AFL-CIO should understand that it is NOT Chinese gov. denies workers' right, it is those capitalists who deny workers right.

no, it is the government's responsibility to enforce labor rights. however, the tacit agreement between Chinese govt and Western corporations is to allow ongoing worker exploitation in order to grow the labor force, as this allows China to also steal Western technology and receive much FDI. Western corps do not want to pay extra for labor, and Chinese govt for its part has never cared about its own people.
