Last night was our son Kevin's first baseball game since stepping up from the dreaded T-ball. He struck out the first time at bat, got his first hit his second at bat, and his third at bat he got hit by the ball!! Seems he covered almost all the batting options in that first game. I guess he missed out on walking, maybe next game!! He was pretty funny his first at bat, he was batting right handed, and struck out. When Mike (Dad and coach) came in at the end of the inning from coaching the 3rd base line he said...Hey Kevin, next time remember that you are left handed!! He batted lefty his second at bat, when he got the hit. The next batter hit a home run, so Kevin scored. The kid that scored the home run has been on the team for the previous 2 years. He hit 3 home runs last night!! He is 10 years old. On our team, we have 4 kids that have previously played. We then have 6, seven year olds that moved up from T-ball. We won last night, but it should be an interesting season
