First can-spam charges brought

"Nearly four months after taking effect, the can-spam law has resulted in its first first charges. Four Detroit-area residents were indicted for mass e-mailing weight-loss product ads and disguising their identities while taking advantage of unprotected relays on the Internet. Christopher Chung and Mark M. Sadek were arrested and then released on unsecured bond after court appearances, while Daniel J. Lin and James J. Lin have been charged, but not yet taken into custody. Sadek was reportedly quite surprised by his arrest..."
