Harry...

What with the complexity of deals done in traditional media,(e.g. by Disney, TCI,
etc.), it is preposterous to claim that the Internet is producing deals with basic
business terms that have never before been seen in the history of the planet.

If you work in the accounting/tax field than you will know what I am talking about. Read the Cox-Wyden bill. Read about how hard it is to apportion income because of the "basic business" of the internet. Read about how easy it is to determine nexus in states because of internet services. Then read some more and determine if internet activity is a telecommunication service, internet service, video service, etc. etc. Nothing is "simple" when it comes to being a pioneer in your market. Certain laws that were written before the boom of online activity don't apply today....problem is that certain parties try to adjust outdated laws to cover a new medium. It doesn't work.

AOL made a timing adjustment due to the SEC's request. It was not an order. It was a request. The market has digested the numbers, and AOL will trade on. Now, lets wait for that 10 million subscriber party..........

Happy trading everyone.
