Andy,

Everyone, except most bashers, agree we have little info to work with. However, from the little we do have, it would seem like what happened with NT's accounting appears similar to what happened with Xerox where things were not accounted for in the appropriate qtr. So, things got shifted around. The restatement that took place late last year should have closed the book on this issue but Dunn appears to have done a terrible job at that. Dunn's firing was inevitable once the board got fed up with the news of a new restatement. This shouldn't have happened and Dunn, and those who oversaw the work, have been made totally accountable by being fired. If Xerox, with 4 times their cash in debt can recover from this accounting problem, so should NT. Now, I hope Owens releases the restatement and last qtr's numbers ASAP.
