you know James, there is a lot about California that I think needs to change. The proposition system is the main culprit imho. But during this downturn I have been pleasantly surprised at the inability of other locales to successfully recreate our technology entrepreneurial climate. Despite the high cost of doing business here, all the hot new companies are here, or in Seattle. Nothing in the "cheap areas". People from places like Utah crow about California and what a joke it is. But they can't get their economy to move, which tells you something.
