Jay,

Interesting note.

So you don't think they're just waiting for the jobs numbers. optionetics.com

You think this might be part of an overall trend lower? Between the Google IPO to 'juice the market' and the 4.2% GDP number that might give the Fed pause on rates? Maybe Greenspan will announce his retirement soon and the market will rally? I personally think a decent portion of healthy Japanese mid-year bonuses paid Jun/July may also wind up helping the US market, just as BOJ intervention in Jan/Feb 04 helped lower US treasury yields.

What chances do you give 2000 lows? The QQQ's recent low - ie post 99 - is the close of $20.06 on Oct 9-02 NAZ@1114 or the low for 2000 which was the close of $55.73 on Dec 20-02 NAZ@2333?

If we're testing $20.06 the QQQ ATM ($35) Jan06 Puts at $3.90 look positively juicy indeed!
