Cheney-Bush have more in common with Nazis than you realize. Nazi Germany started with extreme nationalism, scapegoating, mobs threatening voters (remember Florida), crack down on the press and dissenters and unilateral unprovoked invasion of another country.

OK, Bush is no Nazi, but you have to admit that he's not exactly the opposite of a Nazi either and he's become more Nazi-like since 2000. What's scary about the Patriot act is that it could easily be abused (as Nixon and Hoover did) to spy on political opponents and start doing as Anne Coulter suggests, brand all critics "traitors" and start an inquisition a la her hero Joseph McCarthy.

General Tommy Franks, hardly a liberal, recently warned that one dirty bomb attack inside the US and our constitution could be scrapped. Don't think it could never happen if the Cheney and Delay types gain more power.

Dwight Eisenhower warned us to beware for democracy if the industrial-military complex ever gets too much power. Cheney clearly represents the military-industrial complex and now seems to dominate Bush and the entire government.

The extreme right have had their chance and failed us. They are very corrupt and lie all the time. Time to show them the door. And don't let it hit them on the way out. These are not your father's conservatives, in fact they're not conservative at all. They're just dishonest and scary.
